I'll start then, someone can continue the story from there. Then that same person can come back or, someone else, and can continue however they want. Anything can happen!
Here I go:
"Is the coast clear?" Nina whispered, peering from outside the small niche she and her friend and squeezed into. "I think so, come on," replied Mika. She crawled out from the space and continued tip-toeing down the hall. "Be prepared to hide at anytime. We might not be alone." Nina nodded and followed Mika. Her eyes were just beginning to adjust to the dim light of the........
(Whoever wants to go next, just jump in!"

hall they crept through. Every movement seemed to be their followers, each whisper of the wind that entered the dingy house their laughter as they crept closer to the pair.
Nina's eyes caught a movement ahead of them. With a slight gasp, she tugged on Mika's arm. "Shh," Mika whispered. "I think it was just the cat." Sure enough, the familiar gray cat bounded up to them. But as Nina kneeled to stroke her, the cat streaked past her, tail bushed out in fright. Mika and Nina stared frightenedly ahead as a massive shadow lumbered towards them...

(No one else seems to be here, so I'll add on another part.)
"Who goes there?" An all too horrifying his questioned. "Hide! Over here!" Mika mouthed, gestured to a large pottery item displayed on the other side of the hall. "No sudden movements, Nina," the girl whispered. Nina was trembling now, barely able to contain her crys of alarm. She squated down, the wooden planks of flooring groaned and creeked. Nina continued to move slowly, her blue eyes focused on the cat they had earlier met at the door to this house they had entered uninvited. Slam! Nina had lost her footing, the wood groaned again and the floor shook.
"Muuurow!" the cat shrieked in suprise.
"Show yourselves, cowards......."

The voice rumbled again. It was a deep voice, almost inhuman. Mika followed Nina slowly, hoping that the creak of the floorboards didn't give them away. The shadow didn't sound like the one they had been running from, but he could still be looking for them.
"Show yourselves!" He was becoming angry now, his voice showed that much. Nina was trembling now, and she gripping Mika's arm fearfully, nails biting into her friend's flesh. Mika winced, and gently pried Nina's fingers off her arm. Holding her finger to her lip, Mika leaned around the pottery they were squatting behind. The sight that met her eyes made her gasp, her green eyes wide with alarm.

The figure's head turned sharply at Mika's loud breath. At first Nina could only wonder what her friend had been so suprised by, but then she noticed it. Now that their follower had come closer both girls could clearly see his wide figure, hidden in a black hooded cape. His hands were gloved, around his neck was the artifact they were searching for. The object Nina and Mika had risked their lives by entering the house to get....

Underneath the cloak, the figure's lips were spread in a grotesque grin as he lumbered towards the two girls. With a startled cry, Mika pushed Nina away from him and started to run, stumbling over the frightened cat as she did so. She fell to her knees hard, but rose quickly and began to run again, Nina panting alongside her. They could hear the man's footsteps behind them as they ran from the man, away from the artifact they needed so. The man uttered a cruel sound; with a start, Nina realized that he was laughing as he followed them. He wasn't even running, rather he was following at a leisurely pace as if he knew that they would soon tire.

"We need to get the amulet from him! That thing on his neck, that's it, isn't it?" Nina puffed.
"I think.....so," Mika's face reddened. As they ran it seemed to get hotter and hotter in the small house. "But we can't worry about it now. We need to find a place to hide....catch our breath......come up with a plan."
"Mika, you look like a ripe tomato," Nina said.
"So....do....you!" The girl choked coughing and sputtering......

Nina couldn't run anymore. Suddenly, she stopped, even as she willed her feet to go on. Mika stopped as well, wondering why her friend had stopped at this time of all times. "C'mon!" she whispered urgently, tugging on Nina's shirt. With another labored breath, Nina began to walk. She truely didn't see any point in running. He would catch them anyway, why waste precious energy trying to escape the inevitable?\
The man behind them kept his leisurely pace as he laughed. He could taste the girls' fear as it rolled off of them in waves. He fed on it, waiting for the girls to finish their useless escape attempt.

"There has to be a door, another hallway....some kind of turning place!" Nina prayed aloud.
"I certainly hope so. You know what will happen if we don't-"
"Yes, I know," Nina sighed, inturupting Mika. She didn't need to be reminded it was all their fault. If they hadn't removed the amulet from it's place, lifted it from the statue's neck, for their own satisfaction, none of this would have happened. The shadow theives would not have sensed their presence and stolen it from their hands- if only Nina had known it was only from human flesh a shadow dweller could steal. If she and Mika could not take the the amulet back and return it to the sacred.....

...bust of Nekhari, an ancient Egyptian Queen whose name had been lost to all but the mysterious Anubis Occult. Nina sighed, and whirled around. Mika started patting the wall in front of them. "What do we do?" asked Nina frantically.
"I don't know!"
Nina whirled and stepped on a very small plank in the floor. With a loud rumbling and much raising of dust, the wall opened. It was a stone corridor, and it led underground. "Quick, inside!" shouted Mika. She pulled Nina in with her, and the wall slammed down. There was a torch on the wall, and the corridor led downwards into the...
