Tamora Pierce.
Song of the Lioness Quartet First Book: Alanna the First Adventure
I'd read that first and then finish that quartet before reading the others.

Ok - I love Redwall! I'm hoping to save up enough money and to - one day - own the whole collection. When I was younger I used to watch it on tv. ;D

I've only read the first one, and I haven't read it for a while. I thought it was pretty good.

You mean Martin The Warrior? I thought that one was romantic and sad! Why'd Rose have to die?!

If your into fantasies GAIL CARSON LEVINE!!!! I've read to of her books: The Two Princesses of Bammarre, and Ella Enchanted they rocked!
If you love horses The Saddle Club by Bonnie Bryant is wonderful. If you finnish those, Pine Hallow by Bonnie Bryant. (Tells what happens when The Saddle Club girls are teens.)
Andrew Clements (I think that's his name) has written a wonderful book, Frindle.
That's all I have for now!

I liked Frindle.
Just Ella was really good.
And if you enjoy the story Cinderella and wish to know what happened after, read Just Ella by Margaret Peter Haddix (I think that's her name. She's the author of Among the Hidden).

Books I particulary like:
The Various by Steve Augarde
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Abarat by Clive Barker
Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs
The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly
Almost Like Being in Love by Steve Klugar
Best Friends by Martha Moody
Authors I particulary like:
Diana Wynne Jones (She is very much like Tamora Pierce and J.K. Rowling, but I always thought her writing style was a bit better)
Louise Rennison (She wrote the Georgia Nicolson series, if anyone knows them)
Gregory Maguire (He writes fairy tales from a different point of view - author of Wicked, which is now a Broadway musical)
That's all I can think of right now. Some of these books are a bit...more mature. As in, mature themes, etc. But most of them are good fun. ^_^

The Artemis Fowl Trilogy by Eoin Colfer-The first one is about a twelve year old criminal mastermind named Artemis Fowl who stole the fairie's gold. Even though the description sounds a bit stupid, it's actually really good. The second one is when Artemis Fowl is 13, and the third is about when he's 14. They're all about encounters with the fairies.
His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip (one or two l's can't remember which) Pullman-They're really good. I can't describe them. Just read!
Eragon by Christopher Paolini-It's supposed to be a trilogy and the second book came out in september, supposedly.
The Midnighters Trilogy by Scott Westerfield-It's probably a little heard of book, but it was so good! I'm not sure if the entire trilogy has been released.
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card-It's about a military genius who is only a child-just read. I've heard there's a second book called Ender's Shadow but I haven't read it.
Watership Down by Richard Adams-When you hear the words "Adams is a master of literature," support them. The book was so cool! I'm currently reading Shardik by the same author. I got all the books that I could written by him from the library, he he.

Eragon...I dunno. I read the book (I got it for Christmas last year), and I'm more than impressed that a 19 (18? 19? I can't remember) year-old boy could write that, but I got bored kind of easily and the plot was a bit obvious after awhile.
