Hello my name is Sami I just joined the forum.
I enjoy writing more than anything in the world.
I write mostly poems but occasionally I write song lyrics. I am also writting a novel.
So here's a little about me.
Likes; The Chronicles Of Narnia,
The Chronicles of The Cheysuli, The Damar Series, Classic Rock,
Chocolate,
scarlet and gold,
and cotton candy.
Dislikes; Chatspeak,
know-it-alls,
11 year olds who cry over "boyfriends" that dumped them,
rap,
and sports.

Wow, we have basically the same dislikes, except I actually find some rap entertaining (mostly old school rap, modern rap is pretty much all trash). Welcome to the forum, hope you ejoy it here. What's your novel about?

wow, i like a lot of the same stuff except i've never read the chronicles of narnia and i've never even heard of the other chronicles and i am a major sports player(though i'm not so much for the professional sports. just soccer. that's the only professional sport i watch. i play soccer and volleyball and i used to play tennis but i can't now. *makes sad face*) but anyways. welcome to the forum. it's awesome. and plus i'm writing a novel too, and i mainly write poetry and sometimes song lyrics (but rarely so i can ensure the well being of others) and i totally want to be an author when i grow up. so yeah. hi from oklahoma!

Hello to both of you!
Well i'm in the beginging stages, the whole plot has yet to be unfolded. But my basic ideas are something like this;
A young girl lives near a lake and the lake is magical (surprise, suprise). The lake is actually a portal into another land called Xeria. In the lake is a princess.
The princess and the girl meet, and the princess tells here about the war going on between the Xerians And the Anhilirians. Anyway it ends up that the girl has to deal with a major problem at home (haven't decided what that problem is yet), and also has to help save Xeria.
In short Xeria ia somewhat like a mirror world between our world and the lakes. At the end the girl has to make a descision, either she saves Xeria or solves her problem.
So yeah. |

Thank you. But like I said it's still in the beggining stages.
I am a procrastinator and thus it is taking me an extremly long time getting it even the least bit close to finishing. I'm on chapter two so far.

wooow i know that feeling. i'm like on chapter five? maybe? i don't think i'll ever get i done. but i mustn't think that way! positive reinforcement (yeah right like that will help. what i need is to drop out of school). but anyways. good luck with yours!

That sounds like a cool idea, I like it. Yeah, I know how the procrastinating thing feels, too, I started a book in fifth grade and am only on the third chapter, I think I've already pretty much given up on it, though, so that doesn't count.
