I NEVER use ChatSpeak or a bunch of exclamation points unless it's for a good occassion. What's the occassion, you might ask. I GOT AN E-MAIL FROM DAVID LEVITHAN! THe author of Boy MEets Boy one of my favorite books of all time! OMG! I can't breathe correctly!

It feels good to get a response from an author - especially once that you admire.
I had to write to an author for school once.
