Well, on this site Karma is a way to express like for someone. For example, if you like the fact that someone critqued your work in a particularly interesting way, or you liked what they wrote, then you can 'Exalt' them, upping their Karma points by one. Likewise, you can 'Smite' them, taking away one Karma point.

okay whenever you post something it shows all your info to the left of the post, right? well, under your location it says "karma" and then however many karma you have. under it it will say [exalt | smite] and you can either up someone's karma by pressing exalt or take it down by pressing smite. so basically its like brownie points! very fun!

brownie points?......... k. it's just a way for people to express their love for a certian person's work...... or their dislike of it by smiting them, of course. but that's never fun : (
