I listen to everything, but my faves are classic rock, indie rock, and just anything different. I don't really like country much, though I do like the fact that most country songs tell a story. I like pop-country-type stuff, like Martina McBride or Faith Hill and Shania Twain. i love 60's music and 80's rock, but all classic rock will do. What about you guys?

Pop's my fave. I really don't like rap and hiphop, but I've heard a few ok songs with that genre. (To every rule there's an obsession.) Country is ok......but if you get to the 'my wife died, my dog ran away, I lost my truck and highway five, yahyee yahyeee' I'M TURNING OFF THE RADIO! I agree with afrothunder Pop Country is good.

I listen to showtunes - currently I have the Wicked, Godspell, Rent, Avenue Q, Annie, The Sound of Music, and Phantom of the Opera sountracks, plus the downloadable songs for Brooklyn and Bare. The Bare soundtrack's (hopefully) coming out soon, and I'll buy it then. I also have a Best of Broadway CD I bought because I had to listen to Comedy Tonight, and I still listen to it sometimes. I also have a Pot Pourri CD - it's just a bunch of songs from different bands that I really like. That's about it.
Oh! And I listen to drum recordings 'cause they're relaxing and help me with my lessons.

I listen to rock, emo, alternative . . . Anything I feel really has a meaning to its lyrics. Something Corporate and Hawthorne Heights are some of my favorite emo bands. I don't know why, but I just love them. I also I have a strange attachment to any band I have learned a song for on the guitar. It's crazy.

I prefer a strange mix of trance, techno, punk, rock, gothic, ska and jazz (preferbly all in the same song, although I haven't quite find that song yet.... If anyone knows it, pls let me know) My favorites at the moment are (european) bands like faithless, the cranberries, massive attack and placebo. I also listen to smashing pumpkins and sonic youth and stuff.

I listen to anything that comes on the radio. Rock, rap, hip-hop (rap & hip-hop are two things my obsessed friend Caitlyn got me into), pop... I also buy J-Pop and K-Pop CDs off of eBay (or force my mom to).
