i have quite a lot... I keep coming up with new ones--- I rarely ever finish one. The one I'm working on now is about a girl who's growing up during the Great Depression and her father owns a bar and she meets lots of people, etc... I don't know if I'll ever finish it, but... I've never written fantasy... Lots of people here seem to like fantasy. I usually write realistic fiction.

Yeah... I'm a fan of realistic fiction too. I was writing this one about this guy... he's 21 about. And he has all these problems, and his history is infused with things that happened to him as a kid that he can't get over, and it takes a toll on his present relationship. He's seeing a psychiatrist, and then he takes a break and goes on a ski trip with a few friends... unfortunately it leads him and his older brother on a massive chase after somebody from their past. And in the end his girlfriend gets caught up in the chase, and he realizes what went wrong. Only a bit too late, though, because at the same time he also figures out that his brother has been casting him in the dark for years, and he's not actually the one with metal health problems... And yeah, awkward

Wow you have so much planned out--- WAS working on it? Stopped, yeah? Well I do that a lot too--- usually I never have enough planned out at the beginning to finish a story but I'm pretty confident about this story that I wrote about in my post... Glad to hear you like realistic fiction!

My longest story is a 26 page one. It's a sci-fi, about an experimental group of kids who break out of their 'prison.' The kids have mechanical abilities.
I gotta get back to work on it. Hope it gets published.

So I definitely started a new one. It's about a kid that runs away and it's kind of cubist work, in terms of sequencing, because none of the timing matches up in the story and it doesn't make much sense until the end. Or it won't. It's 34 pages so far and I like it. The kid becomes a squatter and meets some other guy, and they become friends, but there's a lot of awkwardness and since he's only between 16 and 17, everything "downtown" on the streets is really hard for him to accustom to. He pulls it off though... or he might, I haven't decided the end yet. omg exciting. Haha.

So, I have fun posting about what mine are about apparently... Cool times? Kay. Well. New one is about two kids that decide they're gonna become train-hoppers, and they leave behind their hometown for the new world...which is basically just the big city. They of course meet some kids...a anarcho-punk "fest" happens... Later, they end up in a position where it becomes a question whether it's worth it to boycott things and protest and live simple lives. Also, the whole protest thing is part of it, they get into a compromised situation and the friends that they have made go through some bad times, maybe they make it, maybe they don't (I haven't decided). Incorporates issues such as police brutality, etc etc etc. And... in the end, I don't know, it's a battle about what's worth more: bettering the world and living for the things you believe in, or conforming to society's standards and becoming part of a machine that will mean you are safe in the short-term, but not trying to change anything at all. In short, dying to live vs. dying for your beliefs

hmmm, i have like eight, but the one i'm working on most actively is a-sigh- romance (i am a hopeless romantic) and it is set in regency england. i've got the whole thing pretty much planned out. it's about the daughter of an earl who dies who gets kicked out of her house by her stepmom when she's only thirteen because she refuses to agree to getting married to this guy when she's sixteen, and her stepmom tells everyone she's dead, and she goes to live in the slums of london with the cook's son and his friends and she learns to fight and stuff. so she gets into trouble with a minor crime lord and he has her beaten, so this guy who works for the war department finds her and takes her to live with him and his wife and he trains her to be a spy. she is very quiet and has a lot of problems with showing affection. so the guy who was her fiancee comes back from abroad(he's a spy too) and he has to go into this brothel to rescue a girl who is the daughter of two spies who were killed in france. but gwen, the girl, is also assigned to the same mission and she's dressed up as a prostitute, but she gets the girl out and the guy is suspcious and tries to figure out who she is but people keep being gone and unavailabe and they keep meeting and then she pretends to her supposedly dead self's younger brother even tho she doesn't have one. and since her stepmom died, no one can really prove her wrong. but then her exfiancee shows up from the country where he went and so she leaves again and comes back pretending to be a girl (the purpose of this is because she has to steal secrets from a possibly treasonous lord and yeah i have a lot more of it planned out but it will take way too long to explain.

i am soooooooo jealous of people who can write stories!!!
I can do poetry okay... but im not genius at that!
As for stories, well... i can do introductions to stories, as you would see if you looked at a couple of pieces i have in the prose section... but no one ever does look in the prose section! I can do endings to stories too... it's the middle bit i can't do, mine just sorta trail off....
