Easy way out
In the morning a woman darkens her newborn baby and a cry no longer is after that moment of too much sounds; Lost laughter kisses music dreams In that grey apartment with second-hand furniture
She is no one special Just one of those Alone.
Oh something so fatal Could be so easy Like the father leaving without a note Just like her own
At five in the morning life is hard to stand Mistakes happen so easily So easy one can end a life So easy life could end her dreams
Oh dreams can end a life. They were her wings that could not be used. Their heaviness makes her drown Confusion And the easy way out On that balcony with her now so silent baby the sounds are louder than ever and she decides to try Her disabled wings

I think it was really good, it was a well-used topic but somehow your poem was refreshing, different from the other angsty poems.

I didnt plan to end it with suicide actaully, but I found no better ending to bind this poem together with as it fits wiht both the wings and how easy it is to end a life... I really tried to make it well-hidden so one has to analyse to find out about the suicide.. but ill have to work on that.. glad u i liked it

It was sooo beautiful for a topic of such sorrow. I just have one question and this might seem so stupid but was the baby already dead? you mentioned "her now so silent baby" and I was just wodnering is the baby asleep or dead

she kills it in the first stanza... acually i wudnt say this poem is about suicide, cos for me its jsut about broken dreams and families... and about that psychosis that sometimes happens to new mothers that makes them kille their children, to me that is sth very interesting to write about as it becomes very symbolic,
