Let us flee Leave this place I'm suffocating On haunting memories Forever imbedded In this forsaken town
Let us flee A place nobody knows us I'll be whatever you want
Let us start again Our wiry looks Once again becoming Smooth and supple A baby’s skin A baby’s eyes
Let us see the world as new Again At last
A bogus past More than fine A fresh start Brand new
Let us flee A place nobody knows us I'll be whatever you want

I especially like the last line, but the whole poem is pretty good.

thankyou!! the last line 'i'll be whatever you want' is something i thought of randomly a loong time ago, but i too like it a lot .. not realli sure why though.. i've used it in other poems too, i think there is one on this site that is from the same idea 'whatever way you want it, baby' Thankyou for your nice comment!!

Our wiry looks Once again becoming Smooth and supple that was my favorite part, just by the way. it just kind of struck me. great imagery. plus i love the word wiry.
