If we rose up to meet the occasion If we breathed in the air Would we listen to what our past reminds us? Or would we continue to fear? If the worst we face Is the lose of our possessions Then trivial conflicts we defy There’s so much worse that we could encounter So leave your self-pity behind
If you’re so d___ conceited then why do you lie
Chorus: Maybe once we realize that the world isn’t such a bad place to be Maybe then you’ll understand you make yourself feel this way Cause believe it or not you’re the one tainting the world with pain Break down, break down, break down, break down and scream Scream like you never did anything wrong, like you’re Not alone, you’re not alone, alone
The fortress stands strong and subtle Unbreakable; At least we deemed If it fell would we even remember? Or would we desert those memories? If our lives never seemed to render Should we simply throw them away? There’s so much more we could ponder So leave your vital logic behind
If your so d____ conceited then why do you lie?
Repeat Chorus
Now if we rose up to meet the occasion Unified we’d stand For it’s trivial the way we see Cause you bring yourself down
Scream, scream, scream, Scream, scream, scream

I love the chorus in this song. My favorite line is: Maybe then you’ll understand you make yourself feel this way.
The theme your portraying is put into a realistic form. It seems unique to me - something you designed from something personal.
Great job.
Sorry I don't have any criticism o.O

Thank you. And yes it does come from my own personal experience. The idea came to me as I was yelling at my friends for complaining about their lives so much. I mean could life be that bad? It was also created from the oh-too-many anerixic people and *cutters* (shall I call them?) I know or my friends know. I just think that all of that sadness and depression isn't worth harming yourself over. I mean I know life gets heard sometimes and you just wish you could vanish, but in the end you get through it and are happy once more. I don't know, but that's how I feel. So there you have it everyone a little pep talk about harming ones self from sadness, from yours truly.

Thank you, I did quite enjoy this one. It's one of my best in my opinion. Probably because I didn't spend hours trying to think up lines, it just kinda came to me, like that Cambells Soup comercial. Well not exactly, but you get the point.

Oh yeah, my best are the ones where I dash to the computer and begin to type furiously. Those are my favorites.

Yes, for some reason they often turn out better than those ideas you jot down in your notebook and wait to think of a good begginig line to successfully write a poem.

I love the chorus and the entire song is so unique and it so well-described. It feels so personal and so real. This is my fave line "Cause believe it or not you’re the one tainting the world with pain."
