((I'd really like everyone's opinion. I'm going for emo lyrics, what do you think?))
Hooked On The Past.
We’d always walk hand in hand, I always knew you’d understand; What I thought, Who I am, Why can’t we go back to that again?
And I never said I was sorry …
[Chorus] Two cuts on my wrist, Two streams of blood, Two broken hearts, On everything that was, All those days of suffering, Eating at my mind, Why can’t I just hold you, Why can’t I love you one last time,
You’d always lift me up, When I was crawling on the ground, You’d always grab the handle of the gun, When I was struck and death bound, You always knew what to say, When I was falling down, Why’d you go and take that away, When it was what I needed.
And I never said I was sorry…
[Chorus]
I didn’t mean to hurt you, Shatter the fragments of your heart, I wasn’t being myself, (I wasn’t being myself) Can you not mistake these truths for lies? (for lies) Can I just be with you one last time?
And I never said I was sorry…
[Chorus]
But I never said I was sorry For everything I’d done And I never said I loved you (Never said I loved you)
[Chorus]

I totally love these lyrics, I think I read the song when it was in an earlier stage and I loved it then but its even better now. I could definitely see a band making this song a hit. Nice one!

Im not really a "emo" person, but it sounds kindof scary to me. But if i was the person whp likes scary i would give it a 9.

This isn't about being scary. Every person feels differently, and takes pain in at different angles.
Thank you for your rating, I'm glad you gave me some of your time.

It's très emo, dahling.
It is a little scary, like other people have said. I can see this with some Rammstein background noise. Morgenstern or Stein um Stein came to mind when I read your song.
The only thing I'd have to protest about is that this seems a little too emo, although I think that if it wasn't as angsty as it was, your message wouldn't have gotten across. And I shouldn't be complaining about angst anyways, because that's all my stuff is. Uh...yeah.
Anyways, good job.

Beautiful lyrics, heart-breaking almost. I can imagine this to Phantom of the Opera playing in the background.
