How do you get your great ideas? What are you doing when you find the perfect ending?Leave your tips here for everyone else to read.
I usually just have a brillance moment or I'm doing soemthing that inspires me or I just think something very odd. One thing leads to another and I have what I want.

I listen to music.
I don't do any of this "watch a movie/read a comic" nonsense. Doing that only leads you to come up with cliched, lukewarm ideas.
Everybody who listens to a song gets something different out of it. Thus, ideas that a song scratches out of your head are bound to be good.

For example, my earliest version of my story. I've been rethinking that plot for an hour Iand took no offense to anyone's comments which were 100% correct about my plot. But I only know what kind of genre it's going to be. *Bangs head on desk somemore*

I don't remember reading your idea.
I just know, from experience, that trying to derive inspiration from movies/comics only leads to failure.

I listen to music as well. When I need a sad atmosphere and I can't get into the mood I put slow, thoughtful and mournful music on etc. I also don't lookat movies/comics/books. Sure they can give you a great plot, maybe twist it around a bit and you think you're fine. But then you'll find your own story will slowly gain the same attributes and look more like a fanfic than a original thought.
Sorry. I don't have much to say about your plot and so I'm not much help. Unless you twist it around so it's almost something new completely.

I'm not looking for plot help today though. I just wanted to know where most people got thier ideas from for future need.

lets see........
welp, my mind is really weird and independant from me, so usually i'll be reading something and it triggers an idea of something else. ya see, when i read, i can picture beings in my head and some settings if they're described well (but not faces which is weird to me!) neways, i'll be sittin there picturing something, and something that i'm reading that appeals to my little head will start replaying over and over on what happened, and that leads to someother related thing and this whole other sequense of actions is happening in my head. out of all the jumbled confusion i get, an idea forms somehow, and, so..... yeah! hehe! i'm not very good at the whole music inspiration thing. i'm a freaky little kid who's usually paying attention to the actual music in the background or the harmonies that i hardly pay attention to the words in a song. oops? hehe.

I also listen to music. Or I'll look through my old notebooks and ifnd a word to build off of. Sometimes when I'm reading a book or listening to music or just thinking a phrase or word will jump out at me and I am just compelled to make something out of it.
