just sitting down and thinking about my feelings or colors or emotions and then just writing with as much vividness and description as possible and just seeing what comes out. and music, other people's poems that i really love, and really good books relax me and can help get my train of thought going.

a new setting - my inspiration often comes from things i see around me - a lot of my poems have originated from the tree outside my bedroom window, or the sky beyond it, or just things in my room with sentimental value to me (though it's sometimes hard to trace the finished result back to its origin, because i let my thoughts wander too much!) when i find i'm stuck for inspiration, it's usually because i'm bored with what's around me, so i try going somewhere else. If I want new ideas, i need something new around me to inspire me

Meditating helps me tons. Every night just before I go to sleep I take time out to meditate in the confines of my room. Nothing major, I just sit down close my eyes and drain my mind of any thing that's bothering me. This often ends with an immense brainstorming. But mostly I do it because it helps me think more clearly and definatly helps me be rid of WB. I'd suggest it to anyone.

what i like to do is i pick a story that i really enjoy write it down on paper. then I try to put a story to what the song is trying to tell you. It really helps actually. "I Must Be Dreaming," a story i wrote was done with this technique, and I actually think it was some of my best work! Now I'm working on "Beyond Redemption"...the chorus to that song is in my signature. I love this song.

Hmm, well, I can't really control my Writers' Block. Sometimes it just goes away, like you hear some phrase you like and you just need to make something out of it. So I do.
I use a word or a quote or a phrase or an idea and I use it to write something.
But usually if I have Writers' Block, I'll just look through some old notebooks and pick out something I wrote down (I'll write down random words or phrases in notebooks just for instances like that)and write about it.

A line that doens't leave my mind.. suddenly a poem will come out of it and I will be free from the block.. Also it seems changing language helps a bit for me..

One thing that I somtimes do that helps is just write a page of free write of anything that comes to your mind. Don't even think about it or use grammar or anything. Then reread what you wrote and see if there is like a theme or idea somewhere in it and try to build on that. I think it also helps just to losen up your mind...get rid of some of the wastes...if that makes sence.

really, I just kinda sit there and write... stuff. When I get writers block, its usually because my emotions are sorta clogged up, so I just free-flow write whatever comes into my head and I dont worry about puncuation or anything. It usualy makes no sense, but it feels really good. Then I save it to laugh at later.
