31. Doodle endlessly 32. Write something else... ANYTHING but what you are writing now, and then return to the original work in a few days 33. Freewrite 34. Research the topic you're writing about to get fresh ideas 35. Completely forget about what you are writing for as long as several months, then return to it... 36. Allow your mind to wander...you never know what ideas you can get from this! 37. Read other pieces of literature to get inspired...just DO NOT plagarise! 38. Pretend to be a character from your book for awhile, kind of like roleplaying, and see what you come up with 39. Work on another part of the story/whatever and return to the blocked-out part later 40. Go outside and walk/jog/run/skip/bike/swim/dance...you get where I'm going with this... 41. Practice your instrument if you play one 42. Watch a movie/T.V. 43. IM/E-mail/call your friends 44. DO h/w or extra credit work if you're still in school 45.
