We’ve Found Somewhere New.
We’re not beautiful in the way we envisioned we’d be. Together in completion, compensating for each others faults creating a masterpiece we would have entitled, “Us”.
We’re not the same boy and girl who eyed each other with smiles because we saw a future in opposite eyes, we saw a place unimaginable in an over appealing way.
We’re beautiful in a way we never imagined. Seeing each other passed that time, we thought spelled love, passed the hate that spewed from our words when love was lost, to a place of apologies, a place of serenity.
We’re not beautiful in the way we envisioned we’d be because what we envisioned was a distorted reality a clichéd world we built up for security from all the odds, everything we didn’t have.

Once again a very beautiful poem, you use your words like paint!! I find a connection to your masterpiece We're beautiful No more, however I feel like i miss that clear understanding here what you are now, too many theories pop up and yet too little symbols? I dont know, i like it even though i dont understand it fully..

I really like this poem, I can relate to the theme of thinking you're in love but realizing it's just another case of infatuation (such an outrageous word.) I'm kind of unclear on some parts, but perhaps it's just because my mind isn't ready for such complexity. I also love the repetition of "beautiful."

We're Beautiful No More and this one are linked. They are both about the same boy, through two different views. In We're Beautiful No More, it was written when I was in a most angry state. I was still mad at him on how he broke promises. But I talked to him, and apologized for my behavior, and that's where this new poem comes in. We aren't in a state of love and infatuation, but a friendship.

Yeah it makes more sense that way, it's just awesome that you can turn something so personal into such a great poem.
