I don't really like to share with my parents much, though, because they A.)just say "OH, that's great, Mona!" or B.) say "What's it supposed to be about?" Which is kind of annoying, I don't even like to share with my brother (who's, like, my best friend) much, because he's not really the verbal type, he's more visual, wheareas I like words. Plus my dad is the verbal type (my mom's not) but hes not a poetry type of person...he's more a journalistic writer (which I'm pretty good at, too, but I don't like it as much as poetry.)
And occassionally i share poetry with my cousins since we're competitive when it comes to intellectuality and like to have contests seeing who can come up with the best poem in five minutes or who can think of the best story plot by dinner and that kind of thing.
