Waiting For Murder By taking a childs life. This manifestation is worse than any disease, It’s less contagious, But can kill on contact. It’s worse than any infected creature could carry. This hell is worse, Than seeing your only one, Being murdered, And knowing, You’re the next to go.
Your words are as deadly as bullets, Traveling through the air aimlessly at full speed, Only hoping to hit a target, Making them bleed from the inside out, Letting the weapon, Sit beneath the skin, Waiting to be extracted and repaired.
Your voice is like needles, Running down the coating of a chalkboard, Waiting for murder, Tasting the bitter salt of blood, Because you’ve been given this sound, As your only gift.
I’m running from you, Trying to find a safe haven, Away from your weapons, Your sight, So you can’t hurt me, But I’m locked here in this prison, With walls that god himself can’t break through.
My bravery towards you grows thinner, As I lock myself in this porcelain sell, With white tiles encasing the wall, And where the temperature is taking me, With each degree it climbs.
You’re banging on the blockade, That is saving me from your grasp, And the needles are once again, Clawing at the chalkboard, Waiting for murder.
This manifestation is invincible, Controlling his environment like he’s king, If one wrong is committed, Everyone must pay, Being sent to the porcelain chamber, The sturdy blockade, Breathing for their life, But the oxygen can only go so far. Eventually, Time will run out.

I really really like how you ended it. That's what struck me about this one.
Eventually, Time will run out.
It just gives the end a feeling. I don't know, I'm not much good at describing these things, but it works out well. Overall, it's great.

Well, this is one of those wicked sweet poems that uses really crazy cool words to make great imagery and an awesome poem. Good job, and, maybe once again i'm oblivious, but could this be a little bit deeper, or did I totally miss something, like i think i did?

It's metaphorically represeting a fight I had with my dad. He get's mad and yells about grades and such or gets mad when I defend my sister. Inside, he kills me.

Thanks Quilleh. And I know, Dad's can be a pain. But he get's stressed some times. I live. I got awesome friends to go to and my writing. Thanks ScarletMornings, I actually got the username because I don't look exactly like a "dark" writer. I mean, if you looked at me, you wouldn't guess writing is one of my hobbies. So I wanted it to be an understanding that beauty and heart lies under the surface.

Eh, it's not that deep. My mind just is a little bit of a dark place at times. Except when I am around one person. Then it is a happy place! -sighs-
