incredibly cliched poem, but it's the holidays, i'm bored, and i have nothing to inspire me, so here we go:
Trivial
‘of only small importance’ – Oxford dictionary
Sometimes, just sometimes, I wonder why You flutter around like a butterfly Well, I don’t mind when you land on me I just wish you wouldn’t flutter your butter at what we see
Pale pretty butterfly Flutter butter, flutter butter, Jerky, but so delicate you’re elegant The bobbing motion just helps your innocence Blinding the world Playing on their ignorance, Make them trust you Make them love you; Pure innocent creature Your magic worked on me… Flutter butter, flutter butter Dancing on the wind. But the butterfly life is short, And you’ve gone now, wilted The flutter butter innocence left With my stutter shutter ignorance. The real world shutter-blocked Voices stutter-silence Still your flutter-flight whisks me away Yet your butter-blunder trips me, Sliding down, slipping down Till the ignorance has left And the butterfly life has died
Sometimes, just sometimes, I wonder why You flutter around like a butterfly Well, sometimes it hurts when you land on me So please don’t flutter your butter at all we see

I like it all except for the "flutter your butter" parts. It makes it sound really childish and Doctor Seuss-y, and just sort of turns me off the poem.
"Jerky, but so delicate you’re elegant"
A particularly beautiful line. 'Delicate' and 'elegant' almost rhyme; almost. It's so close and so far away it it rolls off the tongue really easily and in a really good rhythm.
