What did I do?
Was it something I said,
Something I did.
Do you infect me with pain,
Because You enjoy it?
Or was some kind of bet with evil?
I hope you know,
How much love you ripped from me.

What did she do?
To make you leave.
Didn't you know she loved you,
Didn't you love her too?
Was it hard for you to let the words,
"I love you" caress your lips.
You weren't manly enough,
Were you?
Not strong enough.

What did he do?
Was it that he wasn't good at sports,
He wasn't good at things ,
You wanted him to be good at.
He tried to make you proud,
But you obviously couldn't see that.
You didn't understand,
His troubles.

What did we do?
You both say it was a two-way decision.
But how can I believe that,
When she cries every night.
When I cry every night.
You made us all hurt,
And now were all in pain.
You don't care though,
You have a new model,
It's better then us, isn't it?
I ask myself again,
What could we do?
What could we- your family- do?
The answer?
Nothing.

Um, about this poem. It's about a divorce...I hope I got that message through, I'm not sure if I did.

yeah, it was a little foggy about the meaning, but still vivid in it's message. you just might want to think of ways on how to get it's meaning out a little clearer, cause i couldn't really tell what it was about untill i saw your little post jigger-thingy up there. it's still amazing, though. second stanza=my favorite

I wasn't exactly sure what it was about until I read your post in the end, then it kind of all made sense, maybe you could put something in there about splitting or something to get the meaning across more clearly? I did like the concept, though, how no one was really to blame but it's hard to not have someone to blame.

i got the divorce idea and really liked it...the way each stanza was difrent for each member of the family was cool too! I think it gets the mood over very well...
